Overview

The model, explained by the person who built it

Ten minutes on how the business runs when you are not the one performing the work, what the operator is actually responsible for, and where the money moves between the customer, the crew and you.

How it works

Seven steps. Five of them are ours

This is the exact sequence every operator goes through, from the first call to a running business. Watch who carries each step.

We research your territory

Provider density, live advertising, housing stock and published local job values across the zip clusters around you. Not a national average.

DILIGENCE · BEFORE YOU COMMIT
01

You receive the file, including what we would not build

Every diligence file names at least one service line we recommend against in your market, with the arithmetic behind it.

Brand and entity, website, Google Business Profile, customer record and phone. Registered to you, not licensed from us.

Our spend, our creative, our media buyers. You are not handed an ad account and a login.

DONE FOR YOU · ONGOING
04

A setter team calls every enquiry

Speed of callback is the variable that decides whether an enquiry becomes a booked estimate. It is not left to you.

You close. Vetted subcontractors deliver

The crew carries the licence, the insurance and the liability for trade work in your state.

The second service line runs off the crew relationships and the brand you have already built.

Your first 90 days

From a name on paper to a calendar that fills itself

This is the arc every build follows. The work sits with us at the start and moves toward you as the calendar fills. What is guaranteed sits at the end of it.

The sequence describes how a build is run and the point at which the contracted estimate count is delivered. Pace varies with your market and your own availability. Nothing here is a projection of income.

Your business. Your name on it

We are paid once to build it and to run the advertising that fills it. What it earns afterwards is yours, and so is everything it accumulates.

Operator results

Different trades, different metros, the same front end

Each operator below started with no online presence and no booked work. Reported outcomes from individual operators. They are not typical and are not a representation of results any operator will achieve.

SabiMarble MaidsResidential and commercial cleaning · Dallas, Texas

The longest running operator on the system and the clearest illustration of why recurring trades were chosen. Cleaning contracts renew monthly, so every account closed in month one is still paying in month twelve. Growth compounds rather than resetting.

Reached a $500,000 run rate in fourteen months from a standing start. Commercial cleaning carries a lower job value than the high ticket trades, but the contracts are monthly and multi year, so the revenue base accumulates instead of being rebuilt each quarter.

AnthonyStrokes and Paint CompanyInterior and exterior painting · Dallas, Texas

Roughly $14,000 in profit inside the first thirty days of trading. Painting carries a higher job value than cleaning and does not recur, so the shape is different. Cash arrives faster and the first month can carry the whole investment.

Three thousand dollars in monthly recurring revenue inside the first five days. The fastest start on record, and evidence that the model does not depend on a dense metro. A smaller market means fewer competing advertisers and a lower cost per enquiry.

What they have in common

The trade is interchangeable. The front end is not

Four things hold across every operator on the system, and they are the reasons the model is built the way it is.

The trade is interchangeable. The front end is not.

Cleaning, painting and roofing all buy the same thing: a property owner on the calendar who wants the work and has been told the price.

Recurring trades compound. High ticket trades pay faster.

Cleaning builds a monthly base that holds its value. Painting and roofing return the investment sooner. Running one of each is how the calendar stays full through a season change.

Speed of callback is the variable that moves.

Every operator above runs a two to five minute callback on every enquiry. It is the single largest difference between a booked estimate and a lost one.

Market size is not the constraint.

Sioux Falls produced a faster start than Dallas. Fewer competing advertisers means a lower cost per enquiry.

Your market

Run the economics on your own territory

Job values are not national. Pick a service line and a state to see what one job is worth there, what the subcontractor takes, and what is left for the operator.

What is guaranteed, and what is not

A contracted number of qualified booking estimates within 90 days. A booking estimate is a decision maker who wants the work and is on your calendar to be priced. It is not a lead and it is not a closed job. If the number in your agreement is not delivered, the advertising continues at our cost until it is.

Income is not guaranteed. What you earn depends on your close rate, your pricing and your market. The figures above are the arithmetic of a single job in the market you selected, not a forecast of your results.

The diligence

We name the line we would not build for you

Before you commit, our diligence team researches your territory and produces a file. Every file names at least one service line we recommend against in your market, with the arithmetic that ruled it out.

0

Service lines scored against your metro

Every line in the catalogue is run against your zip clusters, not a shortlist we prefer to sell.

0

Clear the job value and margin floor

Typically thirteen to sixteen survive. The rest either cannot carry the ticket in your market or cap out below the job count we contract to.

0

Make it onto your diligence file

Four lines are written up with the arithmetic, the licensing position and the seasonal read for your state.

0

Recommended, alongside one we refuse to build

One line to run, and at least one named as an avoid with the numbers that ruled it out.

Worked example

Roofing replacement carries the highest job value we assess, around $15,000, and repays a build faster than anything else on paper. We place it on the avoid list in most markets anyway. The margin is the thinnest we model at thirty percent, and the market converts roughly twenty jobs against the twenty four we contract to. Guaranteeing more work than a market produces is how an operator ends up angry, so it is stated on the first page rather than discovered in month four.

01

Provider density and live advertising across your zip clusters.

02

Housing stock, age, and the failure cycles that drive demand.

03

Published local job values, not a national average.

04

The licensing position for your state, in writing, before you commit.

Suitability

Two kinds of people do well here

Both run it from wherever they live. The operators above are in Dallas, Sioux Falls and Raleigh, and none of them perform the work themselves. What they share is that they answer their phone, and this is not passive income.

Career changers and salespeople

You can hold a conversation and ask for money, and you would rather own the business than sell for someone else. You do not want to learn a trade, buy trucks or hire crews to get there.

Home service owners adding a line

You already run a contracting business and want a second line that uses the crews and reputation you have, with the lead engine handled rather than another ad account to manage.

Common questions

The things people ask before they start

If yours is not here, ask it on the call. We would rather answer it before you commit than afterwards.

Is this a franchise?

No. The company is registered in your name, you keep the profit, and there are no franchise fees, royalties or revenue splits.

Do I need to be a licensed contractor?

In most cases no, and we will not tell you otherwise. Licensing varies by state, municipality and service line. Where a licence or registration is required, the subcontractor performing the work carries it along with the insurance and the liability. Your diligence file states the position for your state in writing before you commit.

Do I have to perform the work myself?

No. Trade work is delivered by subcontractors vetted in your market. Your responsibility is to close the estimates booked for you and to run the business.

What exactly is guaranteed?

A contracted number of qualified booking estimates within 90 days. A booking estimate is a decision maker who wants the work and is on your calendar to be priced. It is not a lead and it is not a closed job. If the number in your agreement is not delivered, the advertising continues at our cost until it is.

What is not guaranteed?

Income. What you earn depends on your close rate, your pricing and your market. Nothing on this page is a forecast.

What does it cost?

There are three builds at three different contracted volumes. Pricing is discussed on the strategy call, alongside the research for your specific market, because the right build depends on what your territory supports.
